Position:  Sales & Marketing Coordinator

 

Reports to:  Owner

 

Job Type:  Full Time

 

Position

  •       Create a positive customer experience
  •       Effectively demonstrate machines
  •       Clearly communicate current promotions
  •       Understand profit margins and quickly create personalized bundles to meet specific customer needs.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

  •       Greet customers, listen, engage with, and demonstrate interest in their projects
  •       Keep showroom clean and demo-ready at all times
  •       Lead generation and follow-up
  •       Teach guide and mastery classes
  •       Assist with classes, clubs, events, and other special projects, as needed
  •       Work with Owner to schedule events to drive sales
  •       Assist customers with machines (in and out, etc.)
  •       Set-up and maintenance of online store
  •       Order fulfillment of online sales
  •       Website maintenance
  •       Marketing initiatives, including email and social media 

 

Metrics

  •       Complete 2 BoA or SESL trainings per week, with accompanying hands-on project, if available.
  •       Follow-up with at least 3 leads per day. 
  •       Five machine sales per week
  •       Help facilitate six BoA Sales events per year
  •       Develop six dealer-led events per year

 

Physical Demands

  •       Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  •       Stand for 9 hours
  •       Continuously walk around all areas of the store
  •       Lift, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks
  •       Bend down, reach above head, get down on floor, climb step ladder
  •       Set up and take down product racks, shelves, displays, and POP materials

  

Qualifications

  •       High school diploma or equivalent
  •       Previous sales success required
  •       Creative and technical sewing experience in quilting, crafting, garment construction, machine embroidery, and embroidery software required
  •       Excellent communication skills
  •       Able to read and follow patterns and instructions
  •       Able to teach one-on-one and group classes
  •       Highly organized
  •       Able to multi-task
  •       Working knowledge of website maintenance and social media

 

Salary

  •       $17 per hour with bonus opportunities
